For more than 15 years, Guardian™’s state-of-the-art technology has been the industry benchmark in pressure and drainage double containment systems for use with a wide range of acids, alcohols, salts and halogens. Guardian™ systems are available in tough industrial grade Xirtec®140 PVC and even tougher Corzan® high-temperature CPVC. IPEX maintains strict control over resin formulation, as well as the dimensional compatibility of all components. The result is a superior system that is unmatched for safety and reliability. In addition, the Guardian™ system’s pretested modular components are extremely easy to install. Guardian™’s patented Centra-Lock™ design requires 40% fewer joints, minimizing the potential for failures and leaks, while dramatically reducing installation, maintenance and repair costs.

Custom Guard
Black polypro, red PVDF, carbon and stainless steel, copper, fiber reinforced polymers (FRP), even hybrid designs using dissimilar materials – these are just some of the options available with our CustomGuard® custom designed and fabricated double containment systems. For applications whose mechanical, chemical or thermal requirements cannot be met by one of our off-the-shelf solutions, our double containment specialists will build a unique system to meet your performance specifications – considering chemical compatibility, cost of materials and installation, life expectancy and turnaround time. Centra-Guard leak detection
IPEX double containment systems can be equipped with our patented Centra-Guard™ leak detection, providing an advanced, fully-automated, reliable, cost-effective solution that offers the ultimate protection against environmental damage and the high cost of cleanup, not to mention lost production. With the unique Centra-Guard™ point-of-collection leak detection system, sensors are attached to the containment pipe in zones to immediately detect the leakage of fluid into the interstitial space. IPEX Centra-Guard™ systems are available for above-ground, suspended piping applications, with sensors housed in saddle-type clamps, as well as for below-grade piping systems, with sensors located in drip leg assemblies. Cable-type leak detection is also available.
